With Hive And Microsoft Live Events Your Live Videostreams Will Be Delivered Without Impacting Your Network

In June 2018 (via this press release), Hive Streaming announced our integration with Microsoft’s new live event capabilities in Microsoft Stream, Microsoft Teams and Yammer.  Today, we are excited to confirm that Microsoft Live Events is now officially GA across these platforms. We have had a number of customers using the combined power of Hive Streaming and Microsoft Live Events in production over the past year, but now that Microsoft has removed the Preview tag for Live Events, we are expecting to see Enterprise adoption of Microsoft Live Events skyrocket.

A great overview and demonstration of how Office 365 customers can use these applications to deliver highly produced, studio-quality live video events to employees can be found on the Microsoft Stream Blog.  Microsoft and Hive Streaming believe that video is a critical tool in improving employee engagement, and these enhancements make it easier to produce and reach quality live video events.

“Microsoft strongly believes in the role video plays in driving employee engagement within an organization,” said Vishal Sood, Partner Group Program Manager, Microsoft Stream. “Hive Streaming is a proven solution for scaling the distribution of live and on-demand video in the enterprise and we are excited to extend the Hive Streaming integration across Microsoft 365.”

Microsoft is making it easier than ever before for enterprises to broadcast live events by empowering users to schedule, produce and broadcast live video broadcasts within applications they interact with every day, such as Yammer, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Stream.

Microsoft Live Events can meet all broadcasting needs of an Enterprise, from a professional, multicamera, global townhall broadcast to a simply broadcast from a desktop inbuilt camera, allowing you to reach all of your colleagues around the world.  Hive Streaming is a trusted solution for ensuring these Live Events can scale effectively without harming your network while also providing a rich breadth of analytics around viewer quality of experience, engagement, network load, and many other valuable data points.
